ESA form Atos update

My wife decided to phone Atos today as I have not heard anything for 4 months after I was asked to fill in a form. They told her that based on the medical evidence they got from my consultant and the info on the form they have decided I don't need a medical and sent this information to a decision maker at dwp mid July but haven't had any letters to say anything.
Tried to call them but could not get through - Atos told me that its all been sent from there end and there is no need to contact them as they have sent their info on.
Does anyone know how long it takes for a decision maker to write out to explain what's happening.
