Another week, another hospital appointment. Saw physio today, got the same one as before, who assessed me and said the whole of my left leg is very weak and he doesn't think it's linked to my neck problem. Friday I have my emergency appointment with my Orthopaedic consultant to look again at my latest MRI which shows another prolapsed disc and the possibility of further surgery which I desperately don't want. Must admit I'm getting very anxious now.
He did not say you will not be storm tossed, you will not be sore distressed, you will not be work weary. He said you will not be overcome.

I'll be in your pocket, Slosh. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that you don't have to have more surgery. Take care ((()))

This is all outside my experience, Slosh, but I wish for you whatever you wish for yourself. And good luck.

Thank you all. Just feeling it after my physio assessment today. At least he tells it like it is, said I would find the leg exercises tiring and frustrating as I'm trying to retrain my brain to send the signals through but to stick with it. Also said I could continue with my neck exercises as long as I didn't push it too hard and stopped if they became painful but to double check with the consultant Friday.
Ho hum...nobody said this was going to be easy.
