What a bummer. Just got a speeding ticket in the post for doing 35mph. I got one a couple of years ago and did the safety awareness course instead of a fine and points on licence.
Does anyone know if I can still get insured on my mobility car. If so do I have to inform the insurance company immediately.
Thanks
Lesley

As for insurance, I'd just ring the insurers to check. I doubt there'll be a problem :)

Are you insured through motability? I would just ring them and let them know as they run the group insurance scheme for motability customers.

My son is a named driver on my motability car and a couple of years ago he got a speeding ticket and 3 points. I phoned RSA motability to let them know, and it was "that's fine". I even phoned back a couple of weeks later, as I was concerned that they didn't take any details. Renewed my car a year later and both parts of the license were photocopied and it made no difference on the new lease.
