shoulders --split tendons

has anyone had treatment for split tendons in shoulder and tops of arms
have had pain for over 3 years and went to have injections in both shoulders but they wouldnt do them as they found i had split and tears in my tendons in my shoulders.any info would be of great help .

    Not only have I not had treatment for it, I'd not even heard of it, magnolialady. How unfortunate that you were unable to have a steroid injection. I think I can see their point though as steroids do weaken tissues so, if there is already a tear there, they'd probably do more harm than good.

    Did they suggest any treatment for the tendons? If not, I suggest you go back to your doc and ask where you go from here.i guess surgery might be an option.
    If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

    I don't have any answers I'm afraid ,but our elnafin has a painful shoulder that they cant operate on , not sure if its the same problem has you, hopefully she will see this but she doesn't get on has much as she used to ..hope you can find some info on it..
