Hi hope everyone is okay.
Not posted for a while, but been on daily.
Well I am so very nervous, tomorrow is Rhum appointment..... my little brother (not so little, he is 29) is going with me. He specialises in talking about random things at these times which actually helps so much to calm my nerves.
So we will see what happens as reviewing all the recent tests I have had, latest x-rays, MRI, bloods, nerve conduction test...I hope that he will say that it is Osteo after all which I know I have and not inflammatory as previously said.
I struggle with that, but will accept advice or suggestions of treatment given.
I have been waiting waiting for this next appointment.

Unfortunately I currently have a horrible cold! which I hardly ever get and feel pretty rubbish! - great timing!! so today, I am not working so will take it easy.

Regards,
Kirstyxxx

I hope that your appointment goes well tomorrow, Kirsty. You may well have picked up a cold because you're stressed. So, try to relax today and look after yourself.

I know about getting worried like that! The thing is, once you have been through the appointment, whatever the outcome, you are a step closer to treatment. Whatever it is called or defined as tomorrow it won't be different in terms of what it feels like, you'll just know which treatment direction you are heading in. That said, it can be scary and I hope you have a good appointment and your brother keeps you calm.
Hey little fighter, things will get brighter

Will be thinking of you tomorrow. Hope it goes as well as these things ever do.
He did not say you will not be storm tossed, you will not be sore distressed, you will not be work weary. He said you will not be overcome.

    Hi Kirsty,

Good luck from me too :)

It's great that your brother's coming with you to the appointment. I have a 'little brother' too (age 33, and 6 foot 2!) and he's good at being random. He took me to A&E last June and while we were waiting for the doctor he drew a lovely picture of an owl

Anyway, I hope it all goes well :)

    Best wishes,
    Phee
