I doubt many of you will have heard of this young woman, who died earlier today aged 32. I hadn't until today, when her life and attitudes towards disability were being celebrated on Radio5Live. She was Australian and had spent her entire life in a wheelchair; Mr Grumpy Chiles urged listeners to find one of her talks on that certain tube that has so many things on it. So I did and I am pleased I bothered. I cannot do the clever blue stuff but her spot was entitled 'Stella Young: I'm not your inspiration thank you very much.' It's worth a look, it is thought provoking and amusing.

I confess I'd never heard of her but I like some of the things she said.If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
