Channel your inner Freddy what-not and the Dreamers for this one, gang.

:carolers: Altogether now!

I like it, I like it,
The metoje-ect pen
Is working well for me,

Duuun in a trice,
It doesn't hurt,
Pre-ess, click, stab,
It's done in a spurt
Of jollop into me-eeee!

I like it, I like it,
The metoje-ect pen
Is working well for me

Much to my surprise
It's go-oing well
I've given it a month
And so far no hell
Of agony for me-eee!

etc.etc.etc.

I like it too  Not the pen, which I've never done but the new Freddie and the Dreamdaisy group :xmas_cool:

I love the effects but is one of the most painful experiences I have had and it is once a week! Still, if it keeps me wellish I will keep stabbing away

Tubby, do you find it worse than the syringes? Do you make sure you 'pinch an inch' first?

I have MTX in syringe and humria in pen form and I hugely prefer the pen. I really have to psych myself up for the MTX and it takes me ages. I really dislike the thought of pushing a needle through my skin and then pushing the syringe. The pen is sharply painful for me but over more quickly.

I dislike the humira pen and was dreading the meth version but I find it far preferable to the pre-loaded syringe that Alcura sent: my hospital pre-loaded syringe had a long, fine needle but the Alcura version was short and almost blunt - it took a real shove to get it through my skin. The pen is a joy, utterly painless and done and dusted fairly quickly. I was (and remain) pleasantly surprised by it, which, seeing as how I should do the meth tomorrow morning, may make things a tad easier. There again . . . . why should I deny myself my Christmas morning sherry? Hmmmm . . . . DD wanders off already knowing what's what.
