New York Snow alert

Interesting that they forecast 3 feet of snow in New York but so far only
about 6 inches. Keep an eye on the weather there below with the live
web cam from Times square in the centre of New York city.

    Fascinating to watch live from thousands of miles away. If you turn the sound up you can even hear from the street below.

    Thanks Ron that is brilliant ..especially all the different street and views..the only webcam I have looked at was the watering hole in Africa... :D x

    Poor man, he's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't, for what it's worth I think he made the right choice in warning people about the possibility of a white-out. It seems that the guts of the storm missed NY but has hit Massachusetts very hard, quite astonishing scenes on the lunch time news: now that is proper snow! DD

    PS I thought it very good that all the televised Mayoral speeches were accompanied by a signer, I know the Americans have a different system to us but even so . . .
