Today ain't been a good one for me, joint wise, and this little ditty has just popped into my head: if you too have had a rough day try singing this.
I see trees of green, red roses too,
I feel them hurt, for me and for you,
And I think to myself
What an arthritic world.
I see skies of grey, and clouds of black,
The dull cursed day, then the dark, awful night,
And I think to myself
What an arthritic world.
The colours of the rainbow, so pretty in the sky,
Are foul in my joints and people wonder why
When they shake my hand, I wince with pain,
Whilst heartily wishing it won't come again
I hear babies cryin', I watch them grow
I hope they never learn what I've come to know
And I think to myself
What an arthritic world . . . . .
Yeees I think to myself,
What an arthritic world.

Brill DD, but, sorry that you are hurting so much ((((())))) xxSmile a while and while you smile
smile another smile and soon there
will be miles and miles of smiles
just because you smiled I wish your
day is full of Smiles0 -
I promise you if I try to sing anything your day will only get worse  but well done on converting pain into creativity. I hope tomorrow is better. (((())))If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Thank you everyone, if I raised a smile then I am happy! Thanks to appalling weather today has been worse than yesterday but no matter, tomorrow might bring an improvement. Last winter so was so mild I had forgotten how winter can work against one, so bring on the summer so the PsA can have a go!
I hope that everyone is having a better day than me but if you're not I truly empathise. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
When i wish upon a star
I make you better than you are
sorry i can't do the rest I'm not clever enough. (((()))) Mig0 -
Oh Mig, thank you - that's a good 'un and no mistake! You've made a good start so are you willing to pass the ball so others can try to run with it? Thinking of passing balls the Six Nations begins very soon - that will cheer the dull winter weekends no end, methinks! DD
PS I hope Mr Mig enjoys tomorrow.Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
I pass the ball to others to have a go.
Got the 6 nation app on my phone don't want to miss anything.
I think he's secretly looking forward to it.Im off to hairdressers.Mig0 -
I think adding more to that would only spoil it. As usual, mig's succinctness lends an extra something – in this case poignancy.
I add my wishes to hers, just as sincere but more prosaic. If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Next line maybe...
Any pain your joints do hold will go from youHey little fighter, things will get brighter0 -
I love it DD!! And I will be singing it to make myself smile. Totally brilliant and only you could be clever enough to do that. As I have always said you are the brains of the forum!0
