The best news to wake up to. My daughter has successfully given birth to Lily Jane, so as well as my two fabulous grandsons I now have a granddaughter to complete the family.
Can't wait to be able to visit and meet her for the first time.
He did not say you will not be storm tossed, you will not be sore distressed, you will not be work weary. He said you will not be overcome.

    How wonderful! Many congratulations to all.

    We have a granddaughter, as well as a grandson, but after having two sons, it was lovely to enjoy buying girly things for her. I didn't realise there were so many beautiful things around for girls.

    You are allowed to be excited... :balloon: oh and all the shopping for little dresses ...I have 3 GDs...its was so lovely and still is, (the youngest is 2), buying baby girls clothes after having two sons... :D xx

    Thank you. My daughter has sent me lots of photos and she looks like a doll! Brings back memories of my daughter who was only 5lb 6 oz. Her brothers both love her, so far at least. The three year old apparently marched into his parents bedroom the other morning, looked at Lily and then announced excitedly "and we get to keep Lily for ever and ever".
