I'm not 100% sure, Ann. 'Polyarthritis' means that you have arthritis in several joints. I'm not sure about 'systemic', though. I think it can mean different things.

Who made the diagnosis – a rheumatologist? Have you been offered a Disease Modifying Anti-Rheumatic Drug (DMARD) such as methotrexate or sulphasalazine?

I think your best solution would be to go back to your GP and ask him to explain things to you. If it's hard for you to get there many GPs have telephone appointments now.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Hi Anne, I just conferred with dr. Google re your polyarthritis systemic and am now totally confused about what it is! I think that you need to speak to your gp to get a proper explanation. In the mean time I hope you soon start to feel a little better. Deb
