on our way to Stockton on Tees

Just pulled up in Redcar on our way to Stockton on Tees.

Having another trip away. Stockton until Monday.
I am currently sat in the front window of a cafe in Redcar. The sun is blazing down on me and I'm about to have a sausage sarnie and a nice cup of tea.

we are now at the hotel.. I am having a lay down as we walked quite a bit in Redcar..

Barbara. Yes hun, we are by the river again.. Room is great. Huge double bed and a couch that would turn into a bed for kids.
We are upstairs this time. I am fine with that as I can use the stairs as an exercise.
They finally have free wifi in Lenny Henry's hotels I am a happy chappy lol.

This is what's in store for the re opening of the high street today in Stockton.
I assume he's gonna move around at some point but I've had to come back to the car to rest the knees. .

I couldn't stick around for the rest of the show. (The giant bloke stood up and started wondering off toward the new fountain and started talking about summat or other lol)
We headed off for something to eat instead. Then we are going back to the hotel for a good rest.
Weather is..... me..... rubbish lol but at least it ain't raining

I hope that you are right about the sun tomorrow. It's rather cold here today. Just got some snacks etc. Heading to the hotel now. I need a rest.. I really have pushed myself. Even used stairs :shock: I know that I have to build up the leg muscles. I took it nice and steady and managed ok but now I NEED a rest heeeheeeee

He was amazing but I couldn't stay for the whole show.

We have had an amazing day in Hartlepool. Been to the maritime museum. Brilliant. . will add photos soon

Yes I was there Tony. It was an amazing day. I was blown away by the giant. What a pity you didn't manage to stay but at least you did get to see him. I have put a link to a video the council put on youtube if you want to see a bit of what went on. The maritime museum is good too. Been a while since I've been there. Hope you are coping ok.

From the Trincomalee ship. Was a great day there. So much to do and see. Would highly recommend going
