Problems of a different kind.

Statistically, at my age and with my lack of family history, the chance of it being anything nasty is very low. Regardless, having an urgent appointment at the breast clinic still makes me a feel a tad antsy.
I'm going next Wednesday (7th) and due to logistics, will be going alone. I'd appreciate any pocket riders riders please but only if you promise to keep your eyes closed if I need an examination of any kind.

I'll be there, wearing my blindfold. 8)
I hope it all goes well. Thankfully, I have only experienced regular mammograms which have always been clear, but that doesn't stop me worrying until I get the letter telling me so.

I'll be a long way away by then, Sophie, but I do hope all goes well. ((()))If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Sophie, I hope this goes well for you and you get the all clear. I will be keeping my fingers crossed for you.
I too, have been lucky in having clear mammograms. My family history for this is horrendous.
Please take someone with you for physical moral support if possible.
And yes, you can count on me to help with blindfolded pocket duties.
Please let us know how you get on.
Take care,

Thank you for your kind words and support. As I expected, all is well. I assumed it was the breast clinic that I was being sent to but it was actually the oncology dept which was scary. Afterwards though, I felt an incredible sense of peace and gratitude that my health problems are not as horrifying as the health problems that some people go through. Happy Friday everyone!0
