Hi,
Well back from seeing the consultant.
I told him that the last injection didn't work at all.
He asked a few questions and then was preparing to give me another injection.
He said I'm giving it in the same place as the last time {that's the one that did not work at all} :?
He then said to the nurse "get me another one please."
So I had an injection in the bone ...same as last time....which didn't work and another one more or less where the first one was ad it worked brilliantly :D
So he's covering all bases
Apparently the first one was for bursitis.
Well we'll have to see what happens this time.....got an appointment in four weeks time.
Thanks for the support ladies
Love
Hileena

Fingers crossed at least one of them works
He did not say you will not be storm tossed, you will not be sore distressed, you will not be work weary. He said you will not be overcome.

    Hi Slosh
Thanks......I hope so.....the one he gave me at the first appointment was for bursitis but it helped the pain anyway.
    We'll see

I hope that proves to be enough but, mind you, if it ain't gonna work it ain't gonna work no matter what we do. Good luck old girl (as we say in this household). DD

    Hi DD
Thanks and you're right....if its going to work it will.
You know me ....I would go crackers stuck in the house with my feet up......so didn't do much but had to get out.

    Hi NB
He definitely has covered all the bases LOL I'm not using any gels or anything because I don't want to mask any pain there might be.....once I give it a few days and find out then I'll start using anything that I think will help

    Hi Hileena,

I do hope injection works for you this time. My first one is due in next week for my knee pain and I am eager to hear more and more positive stories about them. :D

    Thanks,
    Odam.

    Hi
Well its about 5 days since I had it done.....it is a bit better but hasn't worked as well as the first one did......it seemed to work immediately.
I'll give it some more time and see how it goes before saying it hasn't worked.

    Good luck with your
    Love

I hope you are getting some relief following your injections. These always seem to be a bit of a lucky dip in that for some people they are wonderful; yet for others there is no positive outcome.

    Take care,
