Pocket duties please, feeling anxious

Hi
Next Tuesday afternoon I have an appointment with my Orthopaedic Consultant. When I last saw a physio she was concerned enough to tell me to change my next review to see the consultant himself. My neck has got bad again and despite adjustments to my meds I am having a lot of pain in both my arms, from my shoulders right down to my fingers, and this is especially bad in my right arm/hand, probably because I am right handed. It's not Arthritis but neuropathic pain from my neck. I am getting anxious because I know there is a possibility that I will need further surgery, which will yet again mean time off work.
Thanks

He did not say you will not be storm tossed, you will not be sore distressed, you will not be work weary. He said you will not be overcome.

I'll hop into your pocket for next Tuesday, Slosh. I can understand you being anxious about it and do hope it goes well for you.

I'm in,. Slosh. My surgeon will probably want another go at me when I see him next month. I know it's necessary but......
Remember, none of this is your fault. I know you are a person who likes to pull their weight but you are doing your level best to pull yours. No-one could try harder. If it has to be, it has to be.
I'll be in your pocket. Just be grateful the current Test Match will be over by then or you'd find yourself listening to TMS whether you wanted to or notIf at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Thank you all, and thanks for your kind words Sticky and I have no objections to TMS! My nephew lives in Australia and at the moment is proudly wearing his England shirt even though as of last year he got his Australian citizenship.
I'm just dreading the thought of going back to work next Friday with the news I'm going to be off again. Fingers crossed it won't come to that.He did not say you will not be storm tossed, you will not be sore distressed, you will not be work weary. He said you will not be overcome.

Count me in as long as you've got room for my crutches, and I can have a bit of space to make sure my ankle doesn't get knocked.
I hope the appointment goes as well as it can for you. Please let us know how you get on. Hope you have someone who can go with you in person for moral support.
Take care,

Ensure it's a very big bag because I'd like to be there too.0

I will! Must admit I'm a bit bemused by the very precise appointment time, 3.21 pm. Can the NHS be that specific? I'm not holding my breath. He did not say you will not be storm tossed, you will not be sore distressed, you will not be work weary. He said you will not be overcome.

Count me in too! Wishing you the very best of luck.0

The more the merrier!
I'm keeping busy today to try not to keep thinking about it, plus I guess it's not a good plan to rest and not seem too bad when I get up there. He did not say you will not be storm tossed, you will not be sore distressed, you will not be work weary. He said you will not be overcome.
