RIP George Cole, aged 90. This veteran of many films and TV programmes bought pleasure to many of us.

    I had no idea he was 90 perhaps because he's often on the TV, in films and Minder repeats. He appears to have had a great career over many years.

    Hello,
    As you say, great actor, many roles. Giving my age away here, but I liked his character in the old St Trinian's films, Flash Harry if I remember rightly :lol:

    seems like he had a tough upbringing. I'm always pleased to read about people who overcome terrible rejection and poverty.
