I am pleased you have had a good few days away, that's always a tonic. You can count me in for tomorrow, I am somewhat tired so might nod off - dig me in the ribs if necessary. DD

You can pop me in too

Glad the gynae appointment went well, I had a similar experience a few years ago with a similar finding....it's such a relief isn't it when you get that kind of diagnosis. :)

Hope the urology appointment goes well too. Will climb into your pocket with my eyes averted!

Oh that is good news, I am pleased! I had an ovarian cyst (on the right cylinder) - I didn't know it was there until things went mammaries upwards a week after 9/11. It (plus the ovary) was removed in an emergency op - I lost 4.1 kilos, 3.8 was the cyst, the remainder was lack of food because the surgeon forgot to sign me off the no food thingy.

Count me in for urology - I've been there, done that and very uncomfortable it was too because I had to drink a large amount so my bladder was full. I could understand the reasoning but even so . . . . . . Enough already! DD

So back from urology with the news that there is a blockage of some sort in the tube leading from the right kidney, the consultant said its highly unlikely that its anything suspicious but has ordered an urgent scan and will decide from the results what the course of action will be,the kidney its self is fine it could just be a kidney stone so its wait and see. The waiting is the tough bit, mig, but it sounds as if it won't be for long and I don't think consultants bandy around phrases like 'highly unlikely' unless they're pretty sure in their own minds.

We'll be there for the scan. I'll keep 'em in order

Gosh mig you have been through the mill.

My fingers are firmly crossed for the urgent kidney scan to find 'something nice and easily treated'.

Hello my lovely, I apologise for my absence but arthritic hell is currently ruling the roost. I am so pleased that your kidney is OK, I hope you can find out sooner rather than later what the blockage is and that it can be zapped into oblivion (have you thought about sipping some Collot Beng limescale remover? ) DD
