I am pleased you have had a good few days away, that's always a tonic. You can count me in for tomorrow, I am somewhat tired so might nod off - dig me in the ribs if necessary. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

I'll be on digging duties, migIf at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

You can pop me in tooHe did not say you will not be storm tossed, you will not be sore distressed, you will not be work weary. He said you will not be overcome.

Glad the gynae appointment went well, I had a similar experience a few years ago with a similar finding....it's such a relief isn't it when you get that kind of diagnosis.
Hope the urology appointment goes well too. Will climb into your pocket with my eyes averted!

Oh that is good news, I am pleased! I had an ovarian cyst (on the right cylinder) - I didn't know it was there until things went mammaries upwards a week after 9/11. It (plus the ovary) was removed in an emergency op - I lost 4.1 kilos, 3.8 was the cyst, the remainder was lack of food because the surgeon forgot to sign me off the no food thingy.
Count me in for urology - I've been there, done that and very uncomfortable it was too because I had to drink a large amount so my bladder was full. I could understand the reasoning but even so . . . . . . Enough already! DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
Well I'm all ready for urology app at 10.00 must say I'm very nervous about this one been having some discomfort in the right kidney area and back ache ,my younger sister had kidney cancer and passed away 7 years ago ,when i had the abdo scan they said there was fluid round the kidney so hopefully i will find out whats going on,rheumy didn't seem too concerned and didn't what to stop the humira yet so fingers crossed. Ready and waiting, mig, with fingers crossed at the ready for the result. ((()))If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Hope all goes well for the op mig.

So back from urology with the news that there is a blockage of some sort in the tube leading from the right kidney, the consultant said its highly unlikely that its anything suspicious but has ordered an urgent scan and will decide from the results what the course of action will be,the kidney its self is fine it could just be a kidney stone so its wait and see. Mig0
-
Oh that's good news kidney fine0
-
The waiting is the tough bit, mig, but it sounds as if it won't be for long and I don't think consultants bandy around phrases like 'highly unlikely' unless they're pretty sure in their own minds.
We'll be there for the scan. I'll keep 'em in orderIf at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
Steven Wright0 -
Gosh mig you have been through the mill.
My fingers are firmly crossed for the urgent kidney scan to find 'something nice and easily treated'.
Love and ((()))

Thinking about you Mig..the waiting is awful..but hopefully its a kidney stone these do cause pain ..good luck..xLove
Barbara0 -
Thank you for all your good wishes,if I haven't heard by the end of the week I will start chasing them ,the lass on the desk said the request has been sent to scan department so just waiting on them.
Off out to the garden centre with son he's buying me a planter for my birthday. Mig0 -
Hello my lovely, I apologise for my absence but arthritic hell is currently ruling the roost. I am so pleased that your kidney is OK, I hope you can find out sooner rather than later what the blockage is and that it can be zapped into oblivion (have you thought about sipping some Collot Beng limescale remover? ) DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
