R.I.P Dennis Healey

Former Labour Chancellor of the Exchequer, and probably the last of the Labour Party's "big beasts," Dennis Healey has died at the age of 98. He will have been part of our life for all on this board for what seemed to be an eternity and his policies, rightly or wrongly, influenced us all. I will leave it to others to pass judgement. RIP

    I don't remember too much about his politics Ron, but I DO remember those eyebrows!!

    I remember Dennis Healey especially in the 70's. I remember when he went to the IMF for a loan and the uproar that followed not to mention his squeezing property developers until the pips squeaked!

    RIP Mr Dennis Winston Healey.
