1st Post-Op Appt

So yesterday went for my 1st Post-Op apt for my removed bunion. I was surprised when she removed the bandages and plaster cast, it looked like Frankenstein's monster foot! Very angry and lots of stitches. The nurse said they where dissolvable stitches which means I have to put up with the pulling for a while longer. The consultant was happy with his handy work! So I went off and had an X-ray of the foot, he showed me the before and after X-Rays and I had to agree he had done a great job.
After that we discussed the fusing of the left ankle and we had another look at that X-Ray but that was taken a couple of years ago so he said yes I feel it will help you but he wants a new X-Ray of the ankle when I see him in 4 weeks so he can see how it looks now before he arranges anything because it's the same foot I had been operated on so it's still swollen. So I will know more in 4 weeks.
