For the last couple of days, much to the delight of children at school my crutches have been decked out in sparkling gold ribbon and fairy lights. I've had some wonderful comments

Like the Christmas fairy

One pupil said he wished he had sticks like me so he could put lights on them (I did tell him he really wouldn't ).

Two boys suggested I ask for a Segway so I could use that instead of crutches.

And one teacher just looked at me, laughed and said "Oh Miss, you are funny!"

    A Segway :shock: Why not go the whole hog with a hoverboard, Slosh? Ask Santa :santa2:

    A Segway - now there's a thought,! They were all over the city in Prague, & OH looked at them, looked at me, and said "Don't even think about it!"

    Yes thank goodness. I'm taking my daughter and grandchildren for lunch with Father Christmas tomorrow so I've left them on.
