Computer printer problems

Hello,
Any printer boffins out there? I have an older C4100 printer/scanner/copier which has gone bonkers. Since upgrading from XP to Windows 7 it chucks paper out, with wee bits of print on them, prints one page in three, maybe, or not at all.
Support is no longer available, is there any hope, or is it time to fork out for a new machine? :shock:
Having an off day, like the printer, hope I haven't submitted this twice.

    Pam I am sorry I am no expert, BUT I will say that printers are super-cheap these days compared to when you probably bought your present one :)

    I'm with Toni printers are so cheap now, but do your homework before you buy..I remember going form XP to windows & had to download drivers..but like you say they are not supporting it..no harm in giving it ago just google your printer and see what is available..good luck
