I'm late but, hopefully, you won't notice  Have a lovely rest-of-birthday, DD xxxIf at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

DD, hope you had a lovely day. Being such a lovely lady you deserve to have been well and truly spoilt by your Husband and I trust that he will have done this for you.

Hope you had a wonderful day DD, you deserve it.He did not say you will not be storm tossed, you will not be sore distressed, you will not be work weary. He said you will not be overcome.

My thanks to one and all for your good wishes and kind thoughts. I have had a splendid day, only spoiled by the weather (and some 'lumpy' driving by Mr DD: B roads are not designed for 60+ in fifth gear and trying to slam my car into reverse whilst hunting for a non-existent 6th  )
We are currently in N. Norfolk (we usually go away for our birthdays as they are consecutive) and I was treated to a lovely lunch. Now, is this weird or is this weird?
We arrived at the chosen venue to be seated behind a party of four consisting of an older couple and a younger: the older were possibly the parents of the one younger man and I assumed that the younger woman was his wife. They were slightly ahead of us in ordering so a toast was raised: Happy Birthday Peter! I had to chip in that today was also my birthday so congratulations were exchanged. Then the younger man said 'It's my wife's birthday tomorrow.' (I was right!) I replied 'It's also my husband's.' Much speculation then ensued about the odds of that happening - no conclusion was reached.
Thank you once again, and especially to Mig for raising the thread. I wish you all well. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -

Happy belated birthday to both Mr. and Mrs. DD! Hope you had a lovely trip.
I'm curious now as to the odds of sitting beside another couple with a similar birthday arrangement as yourselves. What a coincidence!0
