I'm at my son's in California. Usually when here I put in sporadic appearances when you're all tucked up in your beds but this time the wifi keeps slinging me out. Hopefully we'll get it sorted but, for now, I can promise nothing. Good luck to all going for appointments. I shall just have to sit in the sunshine, reading, withta glass to hand. It's tough but I'll cope

I'm sat in my cold kitchen with a mug to hand. I envy you the sunshine and laid-back lifestyle but don't worry about popping in here - you deserve a break.

I hope you have a lovely time - you will be missed but we'll struggle on regardless  . DD

Hoping you get a good fix of hummingbird therapy

All that sitting about in the sunshine sounds like terribly hard work. Have a wonderful time.

Thanks, everyone. I think we have the router sorted now. I'll try to look in more often but I'm sure you'll all benefit from a holiday from me

Benefit? Not a chance Sticky. You are always missed. Hope you enjoy yourself in the sun, whatever that is. Here it's cloud and fog, cloud and fog and rain and, repeat.

I'm not feeling much of a benefit :( but I am pleased you are there soaking up the sun and (hopefully) some good food and wine. It's cold and grey here with only tiny patches of blue sky  so you're not missing much weather-wise! DD
