Afternoon everyone

Just to let you know I've had a message from Bubba to ask me to let you all know that she had a nasty fall on Friday.

Her knee locked on her so she fell and cut her forehead and eye lid open.

She started out at her local hospital, but ended up at the QE for plastic surgery. I have seen a photo (an after one), and it isn't pleasant.

She is home now, but in bed for now with no access to the computer so might not be on here for a while.

    Oh ouch. Poor Bubba. That sounds nasty. Hope she isn't laid up for too long.

    I have texted Bubba to let her know all of your lovely messages.

    Today the bruising has come out around here eyes so she looks dreadful.

    She asked me to thank you all for being so kind.

    Thank you all so much for the messages, I've now had the stitches out and the bruising is all different colours under my eye. The area above my eyebrow is very swollen and numb and the doctor said it's going to take weeks to heal. So a slow road to recovery ahead.

    Hello, it's good to hear from you and I apologise for not being in touch again with your thread but I'm struggling with a stomach bug. And I mean struggling (trust me, you don't need the details!)

    The best thing is that you will heal, that's always a boon. If you are still taking the immuno-suppressant meds then it will take longer but I'm sure you will get there in the end. I wish you well. DD
