R.I.P Paul Daniels

At the age of 77 Paul Daniels has died. I met him once in Blackpool.
A magician and comedian sadly missed.

    I was thinking only yesterday about how he was getting on, it was a quick end to a life, yes? He was a very skilled magician and entertainer, the kind who is no longer so popular because audiences now have higher expectations of what they want to see.

    My thoughts go out to Debbie, I know there was much public cynicism about their marriage (as questioned by 'Mrs Merton') but I think their union was truly happy. She must be utterly bereft. I am also thinking of our Grace B and my mum: they've all lost 'the one' for them. DD
