Hi everyone :)
My name is Carly I am 20 years old and suffer with sever systemic JIA, I had joined this forum to get to know other people with similar or the same condition my purpose for this is to see how these illness affect different people, there different ways of coping & imintrigued to hear your stories. I have posted my story on my page if you want to see it just go and have a read but please do message or comment with your diagnosis and anything else you'd like to share with me I would really appriciate it.
I also joined this forum as since being diagnosed at the age of 16 I've never had to chance to come accross or speak to anyone who has experienced the same or similar problems and it has been such a hard journey for me as you will see in my story if you read it. I have felt so alone and so scared so when someone reccomended these forums to me I signed up instantly in hope of finding other people who I can relate to & share things with.
Thankyou for taking your time to read this and I would really appriciate any comments or private messages

Hi Carly
welcome to the forum and I am glad you found the young peoples forum too. You might find the personal stories from people with JIA on our website useful. https://goo.gl/SEpgkF
Also if you live in Wales or Scotland we run quite a lot of workshops for young people which gives them a chance to get together and have some fun. https://goo.gl/2ePCdA
I am sure you will get lots of support from our forum members too who are extremely knowledgeable. Please feel free to PM us the moderators if you need anything
Best Wishes
