Sonic boom

It sounded like an explosion. I rushed to look outside and Mr SW peered through the window. It was only this morning we heard on local radio that it was a sonic boom as RAF fighter jets rushed from Lincolnshire to check out an Air France plane which had lost communications. Apparently, such flights have to be presumed terrorists until proven innocent.

A chap on local radio was recounting how it once happened to a flight he was on. The boom woke him up to see a fighter jet coming straight at him :shock:
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

    We have just heard about it on the news..must have been scary to hear it...thank goodness they are on the ball... :)
