I had never heard of her until yesterday although I know Birstall well.

She seems to have been one of those very rare people who touch others' lives only for good.

Her husband, too, sounds special, urging people to "fight against the hatred that killed her". Amen to that. A fitting legacy.

A very sad day indeed, RIP Jo Cox. Such terrible news over the past week.

Just what is the world coming to? A tragic loss of someone who was just doing her job, and a well respected MP.

RIP indeed. A tragic attack on a woman who appeared to be a genuine public servant. Shocked and horrified

Like most, I had never heard of Jo Cox MP. But from what I have seen and heard since her needless, pointless and tragic death, she seemed to be a lovely, caring lady. My heart goes out to her family.
    RIP
