    I, too, saw the article and it set me wondering how important it might be to get onto DMARDS early because he, and other 'celebs' one reads about, seem to function far better than I ever did. This is what ARUK says:

    “Analysis of a database of around 4825 patients treated with DMARDs demonstrated that greater remission rates were achieved with earlier initiation of treatment. Results were similar for both biological agents (anti-tumour necrosis factor drugs) and non-biological (e.g. methotrexate).” http://tinyurl.com/hqcqahn
