Hello Jenpine, it's nice to meet you but I am sorry you have had to find us. This must be such a shock for you, I suppose that things have not been good for a while but to have this diagnosis is probably a bolt from the blue. I won't bombard you with questions but rest assured you are talking to the reluctantly initiated on here, I am 'enjoying' my 20th year of psoriatic arthritis and that has led in turn to OA so I have all bases covered. Please stay in touch, we know our stuff and can provide reliable information. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hello jenpine and welcome from me, too. I have RA also. I've had it for 55 years and not done at all badly on it but, if this has come as a bolt from the blue, you must be feeling quite bewildered and worried.
I hope your rheumatologist can find a drug, or drugs, which help. I'm on a combination of methotrexate and hydroxychloroquine.
Please join us on the other forums. We are very friendly so just join in wherever you wishIf at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
