Im off to have breathing and exercise tests on wednesday afternoon,it will be very interesting to what extent the exercises take if its lots of walking I'm not sure how I will be if I do too much walking my feet still get sore and if the breathing tests involve a lot of huffing and puffing I will be coughing. In my experience these offices are usually situated some way from an entrance so my advice is get there early so you can sit and regain your puff. The staff I have worked with have always been solicitous though and understanding that one might be a little breathless due to walking or nerves. Count me in, I'll be at home waiting for a Sainsbriz delivery so will be thinking of you. Please let us know how you get on, OK? DD

He did not say you will not be storm tossed, you will not be sore distressed, you will not be work weary. He said you will not be overcome.

Thanks everyone,it went well I think although they couldn't tell me anything ,a lot of as I suspected huffing and puffing and a lot of coughing that took a while to calm down but they were very patient and then walking up and down the corridor.I have now just to wait till I hear from the doctor either I was told by phone or letter. thanks again for the company. I'm pleased that's done and dusted and they would understand about the coughing - after all they caused it. Did they give you any idea about the timescale for the results? DD

Not really when I Asked they said he would do a report and put it in the doctors In tray ,so it's a wait to see what he makes of it all.
