Hi everyone,
Well I have an MRI on Sunday afternoon
What a day to have an MRI.
Has anyone else had an MRI because of their ears? I certainly haven't.
I've had my hip, my back, various places in my back but never my ears so don't know what to expect

Love
Hileena

Good luck with the MRI Hileena. No MRI on my ears but I have had one on my neck. From memory I went into the machine head first down to about chest level. Usual ear-muffs and ear-plugs for sound muffling.

Hope you get on ok but I'll be in your pocket.

Down here in Kent you can now get MRI's, CT scans and x-rays 7 days a week which I think is excellent use of NHS equipment. They also do early morning and evening appointments.

Count me in for sure. I think a lot of hospitals are running what we would call out of hours scanning etc, to keep up with demand. My Niece had her ears scanned the other week, she said it was ok, the uusal clanging of the machine, but ear muffs, music and always in contact with the radiographers. Take lots of care XX Aidan

Count me in, I once had one at 9.00 on a Sunday morning. Not had ears done but I have had one of my brain...and luckily it found I have one.

Never on Sundays as Melina Mercouri once sang but I do recall our lovely Barbara having a scan(?) in a B&Q car park. No, I don't think it was a DIY job  Good luck for Sunday, Hileena.

    Hi Bubba
Thanks, Tomorrow lunchtime. This seems to be a new thing in this area. I had both knees drained a while back and that was on a Sunday. Oh well, hopefully there wont be a waiting list and the doc wont get held up

I'm sure you're done by now but for future reference if anyone reads this, head MRIs are not claustrophobic because you don't have your body inside. I had an MRI of my upper abdomen which meant I was fully inside the tunnel and it was a tight squeeze but otherwise I've had lots of MRIs and they were fine.

    Hope results are ok.
