Hi all hope you are all coping well!
Q. I have had to drop my working hours to 15...do I need to sign on to continue my NI contriutions? I have paid them for 35 yrs +.

Also if my carer claims carers allowance does it affect my PIP? thank you lovely people.
Ruby

Hello Ruby. I hope you are well?

35 years is all you need for a full pension at this moment in time. Maybe get a pension forecast to be on the safe side.

Elizabeth is right, you are well covered for your pension, but the NI information pages are worth reading. XX Aidan

PIP shouldn't be affected by a claim for carers but there are certain rules about disability premium which unfortunately I do not know anything about.
