    It would also be useful to look at other cases in your area that have been agreed and compare them. It doesn't need have to be the same condition and treatment just one where the issues were similar. In law there is something about parity and precedent. So for instance I have to consult on changes to services not because I have to statutorily but because we decided to do this as policy a few years ago and now we can't stop doing it as in law we have set a precedent

    Does this make sense?

    Gosh yes thank you it does and is very helpful Paleogirl :D

    Some definite things to go on there. I will check out whether the hospital she is at is teaching...it might be.

    Aidan - bless you I have already had a miracle haven't I? She's still here, while many of her peers including Stephen OBE aren't.
