Is there a high instance of siezures with this treatment and if so what is the usual recommendation from the medical professionals? Need to find out more as all I've read so far indicates my son should stop his treatment due to siezures but so far he has been left on it. Any input greatly appreciated.

How old is your son and is he already prone to seizures? I have not heard of this, I have been taking meth for years without any trouble. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

hi , I am the same as DD and never heard of siezures with methotrixate , but this is not the right place to ask ,
try your consultant/nurse/GP or pharmacist , or some charites like Arthritis Care & National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society have free helplines to give advice
I have a brother that has suffered from siezures for a long time & it takes time to get the medication right to control it but know Methotrexate can interact with complementary therapies like St John's Wort so I would talk to some expert & check it out0
