RIP Jimmy Perry

So sad when I saw on the news yesterday that Jimmy Perry, one of the creators of Dad's Army had passed away aged 93. Of course, he also helped to create Hi De Hi! and You Rang M'Lord? Very talented man and I understand that "Pike" in Dad's Army was based on him when he was in the Home Guard.

    Many a laugh has been had by his writing and for many years to come,my grandchildren enjoy dads army.R.I.P Jimmy.

    He was such a good writer and many laughs have been had over the years..we are just watching the repeats of Hi de Hi RIP..
