Partial Elbow Replacement

Good afternoon,

If you could please help me, I would appreciate it so very much…

I require a, “lateral resurfacing of the left elbow which replaces the radiocapitellar joint,” or partial elbow replacement, due to a fracture and arthritis.

I would like to please know of any manufacturers for this implant, or if this surgery is currently available, for the UK.

If anyone has recently (past year) had this surgery, I would also like to know about it.

Thank you so very much for your time,

A Newman

Hi there and welcome to the forum.

I've been on this forum a lot for several years but I don't recall anyone ever mentioning this op. Elbow operations in general don't seem to feature much at all.

I have managed to find two decent sources of info though at Arthritis Research UK and NHS Gateshead. I hope they'll help a bit.

As for UK manufacturers, I think you might have to ask your surgeon.

Good luck with it and if you could come back to let us know how you got on, others may be grateful for your input.
