Not a name that will speak out at you but I am certain everyone knows him from tv and films of many years. A good character actor.
Peter has died at the age of 93.

Absolutely. He could portray menace, or avuncular in equal measure. As a young man, he was quite handsome.

I liked him a lot, he seemed kind and then changed to menacing in just a look. I have been watching re-runs of Porridge, what a STAR! :autumn-sun:0
