If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Ah spiders! Very industrial creatures. We used to have a hawthorn hedge nearby and the sight of an early-morning, pristine spider's web on it, covered in glistening hoar frost, always made me stop and stare in admiration. Beautiful. If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

oh they are beautiful SW, thank you for sharing the link. Hope you are ok and settled in now.
We did see the milky way, only once, at a friends house in France, in the middle of nowhere, with the house lights turned off it was complete dark sky, it was amazing, truly amazing.
There is so much around us, that we become complacent sometimes, until we look and see so many wonderful things. Frost is great, spiders webs on a misty morning. The northern lights are on my bucket list, without a doubt. Just need the email from the lotto, to say "news about your ticket".
One other place that I will never forget was being at Bryce Canyon at dawn, I was completely rooted to the spot. Worth googling for some images...........oh it was beautiful.

There was a meteor shower this week, due to the cloud most people couldn't see it but there was a great photo caught by someone that was shown on Sky News.

Has anyone been watching 'Planet Earth II' on BBC1? It finished on Sunday just gone but it has been amazing! I was so excited to see some of the animals on there that I had never seen before. I kind of fell in love with the Tarsier. Weird looking Lemur but kinda cute as well!!

Beautiful photographs. It looks like blue lava on one photo.
I agree the tarsier is very cute with lovely eyes like marbles.
