God Rest Ye Not-so-Merry Arthritic Gentlepeople.

God rest ye painful arthritics let nothing you dismay.
Because we have our forum here even on Christmas Day.
No matter that the painkillers do not do what they say.
Oh our webbie and Mods will still be here.
Still be here.
Making possible our forum's Christmas cheer.

Arthritis is a joyless beast and hates us to have fun.
So Christmas is a time of year it tries to make us shun.
But when our joints are aching and the day is scarce begun.
Oh our webbie and Mods will still be here.
Still be here.
Making possible our forum's Christmas cheer.

No-one need feel alone and angry with the useless meds
When pain has filled the joints and then starts messing with our heads.
We're always here to empathise. Just read some of our threads.
Oh our webbie and Mods will still be here.
Still be here.
Making possible our forum's Christmas cheer.

So thank you webbie Sharon and all Mods for being here.
And making possible our lovely forum atmosphere.
We wish you Merry Christmas and a Wonderful New Year.
Oh tidings of comfort and cheer,
Mulled wine and beer
Thank you for enabling us to all be here.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
Steven Wright

Oh my word! I completely endorse the thoughts so wonderfully expressed, many congratulations my lovely!

    I think, however, a gauntlet has been thrown . . . . . . YIKES! DD

Wow! We have a Mod songwriter in our midst x:D I always felt arthritis brings out the artistry in people.

Thanks, Mod Ellen. I certainly had no intention of throwing down a gauntlet. Mine was just a clumsy effort to say thank you but I love your response.

And thanks, everyone for the smileys santa

A wonderful Tonic SW, very very apt. Also Ellen's Creaking Bones, equally as enjoyable and oh so true.

    I think we need a choir :)

Maybe a forum Hymn Book, non denominational, so as to remain neutral.

    Hi lovely members,

You do realise that we need you too - so much x:)
We have a need to help and you give that to us -

and - you must have guessed - where do we go when arthritis is being it's most pushy, when we are glum, sometimes with no reason we can think of, when we need reminding we aren't alone?

Yep you've got it in one - here is where we come :!:

So a huge thank you to every one of you, for everything
