I am confused and rather overwhelmed by the vicious nature of my new flare-up. I hope to find objective info here.

    Hi leoroux,

Flare ups can be both painful and moral sapping, without knowing what ype of arthritis you have (RA or OA and where), all I can offer in terms of advise, is what I've learnt in how to deal when my OA flares up in my knee.

I find raising my knee and lots of rest is the best course to take with a flare up (along with any meds), and I also find an ice pack over the knee useful (you can get these at most large chemists).

Hope the flare up ends soon

I do hope things have improved for you a little?

My initial flares were terrifying to me, (I thought this was me for life), but I am not sure whether you are newly diagnosed or not?

Leloroux I hope you will join us and let us support you.

    Love
