Had my foot and toe fusion operation!!

Well I had the operation on the 4th January and now I'm on bed rest and got 2 furry nurses and a wonderful husband carer!
Taking Oro-morph when I need it and got a weird boot I have to wear for 6 weeks.
The swelling is going down slowly and I'm behaving myself and having foot raised. Got my 1st post operation on 19th January.

    Hi bubba I was wondering how you had got on, Im so glad its all over with ..bar the post op pain and hard work that is..I do wish you a good recovery..bet the furry friends are enjoying you being on the settee were they can get a cuddle..x

    I'm pleased it's done and dusted, Bubba, now comes the boring bit, yes? Time always seem to drag when doing post-op recuperation especially in the dull and dark days of winter. DD

    Good to hear from you Bubba. Also great to know the op went well. I do hope you manage to keep boredom at bay now. Daytime TV isn't the best at times, is it?
