I have osteoarthritis. Coupled with osteoporosis. Being 50. And wanting to enjoy life. It was a shock to realise that I have to learn to live with the 'O'. I am happy to find lots of resources and help. Here and on the rest of the Net.

Welcome to Arthritis Care Forums, matissefan, from the moderation team.

As moderators we are here to help with any problems you may have using the message boards so feel free to send us a message if you need to.

I am sorry to hear you have OA and Osteoporosis too. I think you have probably already observed you will not be alone on here.

There is plenty of information here on the main Arthritis Care site. I suspect you’ve already had a look, but just in-case here is a relevant link:

    https://www.arthritiscare.org.uk/do-i-have-arthritis/a-z-of-types/62-osteoarthritis

The internet can be a valuable source of information particularly reputable sites like this one and the NHS.

I look forward to seeing you posting on the boards.

    Best wishes

    Ellen

    Hello from me, too, MatisseFan.

I'm sorry to hear you have OA and osteoporosis but it's good that you want to help yourself as much as possible. I, too, have OA (plus RA) and I try hard to keep fit by eating healthily and getting as much exercise as possible.

You'll find lots of people on the forum with OA and quite a few with osteoporosis. You can find a lot of help here https://www.arthritiscare.org.uk/living-with-arthritis
but also please do join us on the other forums as more people look in on them.
