Prednisolene and calcium supplements

Is it true that calcium supplements should not be taken at the same time as prednisolene tablets? I always take both at breakfast but just read online that I should wait 4 hours after taking prednisolene before taking calcium as it affects absorption? :o

    I have no idea - maybe it's worth asking your pharmacist? They are very knowledgeable people. DD

    I was told to take my Adcal D3 (calcium and vitamin D) in the evening 6pm ish and/or later and my steriods 1st thing in the morning, didn't ask why though. As a general rule I always take my meds at different times to my multi-vitamin etc.. so absorption is not affected.

    In hospital they always gave them like that.
