Hip seminar

My NHS area is West Herts and they hold a seminar for all hip/knee replacement patients but is up to you if you attend or not . I did and so glad as I found it really useful and interesting. They explained everything to you from the moment you get into your bed untill 3 months down the line....I recently read article by Bel Mooney titled What They Don't Tell You About Hip Replacements....well as I read through it I though yes I know this...they told us that...fancy her not knowing !!!!
Do other areas do this because if so it is certainly worth attending.

Yes our trust did this with both my hips..and at the same time ask what sort of things you need at home ie raised toilet seats trolleys..high stool ..toilet frame..it really did put my mind at rest..Love
