Meds pre op

Does anyone know when you should stop taking meds (Co codamol) pre op?

    It really does depend on op you are having, what time your op is and the type of anaesthetic you are having.

    I'm having a THR my op will be between 2pm and 6pm and I want a general anaesthetic

    I think the usual advice is to take any essential meds. For me that would mean BP tablets and inhaler but I don't see painkillers as being essential, especially just before a general anaesthetic :wink: Best check with your team.
    If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
