Therapy

Hi all,
I have been diagnosed with osteoarthritis of the neck and lower back for which I take citrolopram and lyrica and see a councillor.
I knit as a hobby but have heard of it being used to manage pain, depression and anxiety related to osteoarthritis, I was just wondering if anyone else uses knitting as "therapy" :sun:

Hi Annie
Lots of us use handicrafts like knitting to distract ourselves from pain. Some make jewellery for instance some read.
I hope it helps you?

Annie, virtually ANYTHING at all which absorbs our interest and stops us thinking about the pain etc is very good for us. It can be different things for different people. One or two people on here knit.
Go for itIf at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
