 That'll be a first

I'll be there, Hileena. I remember my first x-ray after my knee revision. It was facing me as I walked into the room with the nurse practitioner. I was stunned. It looked so beautiful - all neat, clean, clear lines where the pre-op x-ray had been all fuzzy with holey bits.

I said "Is that me?" and she said "Yes, how does it feel?"

"As good as it looks" I said and that was that. It's been like that ever since. I hope your shoulder is too.

    Hi Hileena
I hope you have a big pocket, all the moderator team will be with you for your x-ray and post op appointment. Let us know how you get on, and how is your arm the moment?
    Best Wishes

    Hi Everyone
Thanks for all the lovely people hopping in to my pockets. I will have to have large pockets....... especially with all the mod team coming as well

Its still very sore so I'll be glad to have the X RAY. The way I'm worrying about this shoulder you wouldn't think I have already had 2 THR's and one TKR. LOL

Sharon you were asking how it is? Still very sore. With being on 2 crutches permanently that makes things worse. I can only use my left crutch so I'm wobbling about [I'm right handed] and because I cant put any weight through my shoulder I wont be able to use my right one for some time yet.
That's one of the questions on my list for Monday

    Hi Hileena,

All the best for your appointment. Remember to get answers to all those questions you wish to ask. I have a physio appointment in the afternoon so may have to nip out but I shall try to be quiet.

    Love
    Elna x

    Hi Slosh and Elna
Elna....good luck with your physio apt
I'll possibly hear you tomorrow evening to compare notes?
I've scribbled notes down and my appointment isn't until the afternoon so I'll write them out properly before I go

    Hi
    Well a fairly positive appointment.
Had my first X RAY and was a bit concerned because I was sore.
When I saw him he was really pleased with it. Said that's where I should be at this stage.

I can use both crutches in about a months time.

I can try driving but be sensible  in the same length of time

I have my sling off now. He wants it off more than on. I can use it occasionally.

    That's about it.

That sounds like a good appointment, must have been reassuring too, to know that things are going as they should.
