water retention

Any tips on dealing with water retention would be greatly appreciated am suffering so bad I've been to work in trainers for my last 2 shifts n it looks like tomoro will be shift no 3. Just cant get my shoes on or my flip flops or my slippers xx

Yes, as Sharon says, see the doc. I'd just add that drinking lots of water can, paradoxically, help as it encourages the kidneys to work harder.
The only time my ankles swell badly is on transatlantic flights. Although I can walk very little without my surgical shoes, I always change, in the departure lounge, to velcro fastening sandals with just two straps. That way they can be let right out by, about, the east coast of the USAIf at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
