Am two days away from my op and feeling anxious about it all. Have to laugh at the letter ...no eating after 8am...don't think I'll have a problem with that as having a job to eat now .! Just got me wondering if anyone ever has a full English breakfast before the deadline !!!

Definitely not. I don't even like fried food but before an op I take no chances. For my last one, a knee revision, they lady ahead of me in the operating line up had to be cancelled. I was asked when I last ate and I told them. This meant they could go straight ahead with me instead of everyone having to twiddle their thumbs. Good luck with it all.If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
